Integration of the Responsible Design Index

As part of my collaboration with the Designers Éthiques association, I had the opportunity to integrate the Responsible Design Index project into a modern web application.

What is it ?

The Responsible Design Index is a tool designed to support designers and digital professionals in developing ethical and sustainable products. It brings together various frameworks (RGAA, RGESN, GDPR, RIA, DSA, internal guides…), provides criteria organized by levels, and offers best practices presented in the form of checklists, enriched with implementation aids, examples, and arguments.

Next.js application connected to Kirby CMS

The challenge was to design a high-performance, scalable application in Next.js, while relying on Kirby CMS for content management.

This combination offers the best of both worlds:

• A smooth and fast front-end experience, powered by the Next.js framework.
• Simple and efficient administration, with Kirby CMS, enabling the Designers Éthiques team to manage their content independently.

Maintenance and technical support

In addition to developing the Index, I also ensure the ongoing maintenance of the association’s various Kirby websites:

• The Designers Éthiques website
• The Ethics by Design event website

My role is to guarantee the stability, performance, and security of these platforms, while supporting the association in its digital evolution.

This project perfectly reflects my vision of an ethical, responsible, and high-performance web. Working alongside Designers Éthiques is a concrete way to contribute to a more respectful approach to digital technology, serving both users and the environment.
